Initiatives
FIRST FRIDAY MASS TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Every First Friday of the month in our 8pm Mass, our parish’ celebrates the Sacred Heart of Jesus with an Anointing of the Sick. After Mass we have an Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.

Ministries
camillian order & CATHOLIC chaplaincy to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH)
Our priests are from the Order of the Ministers of the Infirm whose mission is to preach the Gospel and heal the sick.
They are also Catholic chaplains to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. If you would like to request for a comforting visit, sacraments, pastoral care, or other spiritual support, you may contact our priests via the Hospital Switchboard (02 9515 6111) or via our parish office (02 9557 1181 or stjocamper@gmail.com).
Lay Camillian Family – sydney chapter
The Lay Camillian Family is a lay organisation who collaborates with the Camillian religious in their service to the poor and the sick. Their ministry includes visiting the sick and ministering the Holy Eucharist to the sick, where applicable. Our parish installed the first members of the Lay Camillian Family – Sydney Chapter in the Feast of St Camillus in 2022.

CHOIR MUSIC MINISTRY
The parish has a number of choir groups that serve at the Saturday vigil, Sunday morning and Sunday evening Masses. If you would like to join one of the choirs or need more information, contact the parish office or respective choir leaders.
YOUTH Ministry
We are looking for members to our Youth Ministry. If you would like to get involved, please feel free to contact our parish office.
The Immaculata Prayer Group (formerly The Immaculata Youth Group) have relocated to the Mary Immaculate Parish – 6 Kerrinea Rd, Sefton and they meet every second or alternating Friday of the month from 6:30pm to 9pm. It is approximately 30-40 mins from the parish by car and only a 5 minute walk from Sefton train station to the prayer group location. The group is open to all ages. If you would like to go but cannot find a way there, please contact us at the parish and we can arrange something.
Legion of mary
Our parish collaborates with the Legion of Mary in facilitating activities to enrich the faith life of our parish. On the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary, 15th August 2024, they are launching the year-long initiative of Pilgrim Mary & Her Holy Rosary Home Visitation.
